School canteen

Canteen opening times:

• 6.55-7.15pm: dinner
• 11.45am -1.05pm: lunch
• 6.55-7.15pm: dinner

Pupils wishing to use the canteen must be in possession of a card issued by the school. The first card is provided free of charge. It is for personal use only and any misuse will result in the cardholder being barred from the canteen.

Occasional canteen users may credit their account at the intendance office between 8.15am and 12pm.

Payment can be made in cash, by cheque or online (link available soon).

If you forget your card, you should inform the intendance office in order to obtain a pass. This is subject to your account being sufficiently credited.

Meals

The canteen is self-service. The chef has won different awards and you will find diversity, especially with the offer of vegetarian dishes.

Users are entitled to:

• a starter: choice of 3 to 4 starters
• a main course: choice between 2 types of meat or 1 fish; potatoes or pasta or similar and/or a green vegetable
• a piece of cheese (minimum 3 cheeses from the counter) or a dairy product
• a dessert: custard, fruit yoghurt,… or a home-made dessert (rice pudding, île flottante, oven-baked apples,…).
• a piece of fruit

To improve the quality of the meals, our menus regularly feature:

• fresh fish from Cherbourg fish market
• local dairy products: yoghurts, fromage blanc, milk
• locally sourced vegetables
• organic products: yoghurts, vegetables, fruit.

Snacks

Snacks made up of bread and a chocolate bar are available for all pupils at the canteen entrance. They are much appreciated by pupils:
